Pennant privacy policy
Last updated November 2, 2026.
Pennant is a tournament bracket app. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.
What Pennant collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The Android app does not have permission to use the internet.
What stays on your phone
Names, scores, schedules, predictions and any logos you add are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
When you choose to share
You can share a PDF, an image or a link. These go only where you send them.
A shared link contains the tournament's names and results inside the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the web server, so our site does not receive or store it. Anyone you give the link to can read what it contains, so share it only with people who should see those names.
Services used by Android
Spoken match announcements use your phone's own text-to-speech engine. Google Play may give us anonymous, aggregated statistics about installs and crashes, as it does for every app, under Google's own privacy policy.
The viewer website
The page that displays shared links is a static page with no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses to run its network, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Children
Pennant is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
